Finding Balance

The duality of a mostly listening therapist and a mostly talking client is a very common conception of the therapeutic balance. When I work with a client, however, that balance is more... well, Balanced.

A therapeutic relationship involves both sides feeling free to learn how to both talk to, and listen - not only to each other, but themselves. I know that because I started learning how to care more for & about myself when I started listening to and validating myself. Learning to invest in others’ well-being brought me to a state of mind where my world expanded with every person I met, and every story I heard. I’m so happy to have been able to learn that lesson, because it brought me to where I am today - here, on your screen, in front of You - a person I hope I can get to know a little better.

A lot of people want to be the protagonist of their own story - and we all deserve to be. So in this moment, for you and yours, let me be the guy that the protagonist (YOU) can count on. To listen, to witness, and to provide honest & firm feedback about what may be going on from a wide angle lens.

I’m happy to meet you, and happy to help - so let’s get started today.

I believe

Your story deserves to be told.

I’m here to help

You have a unique point of view, a special signature. I want to help you see the stories that have been operating, perhaps without you realizing. I’m here to support you as you reclaim and reauthor your story in your own voice.

I’ll help you learn to connect with your body, where your most personal stories are held, to process what they might be telling you. I’m on your side and I will support you during this process of self-discovery and reformation, which is brave work.

Your own words

You might be used to others telling your story for you… I want to hear your story in Your Own Words. Let’s find them together.
